We are a team of highly qualified and experienced mental health professionals, based in a warm and inviting therapy space close to Tufnell Park tube station. Our psychotherapists and counsellors are ready to work with you if you’re struggling to make sense of your feelings. All our therapists offer non-judgemental, person-centred and confidential talking therapy to help you think and feel differently.
We aim to help you make sense of your past and present and create a happier future.
Collectively we all have experience working within the NHS, the charity sector and various private practices both face-to-face and online.
Our integrative therapists are also trained in working creatively. The arts can provide a different way to express ourselves and allow us to uncover things we’ve always ‘known’ but could never quite find the words for. We use image making, sand tray work, metaphor and imagination as additional tools to explore difficult thoughts and experiences.

Trouble with a relationship; anxiety or panic attacks; mood swings or depression - many people face difficulties in their everyday lives that can be hard to get on top of. Therapy gives us a set of tools we can use to help gain a better understanding of what might be causing these problems - and how to move towards managing and resolving them.
Working with one of our team can help you gain a greater insight into the difficulties you are facing. Understanding why you act or react in a certain way, can support you in making new choices, welcoming change and allow for positive growth.
Psychotherapy tends to be a longer and more in-depth process that explores feelings, past experiences and deep-rooted difficulties. Counselling can be more short term, focusing on finding solutions to specific, current problems.
No. Absolutely not. It is simply an option. Our therapists are trained to work with you and whatever you bring to the session. All that is required is a curiosity and a willingness to explore.
No. Art therapy is not about producing a good or ‘pretty’ piece of art. It is the process of expressions and exploration through colour, image, texture. Thinking and working creatively can often unlock feelings and experiences that traditional therapies might not be able to access.
Our aim is to offer a first appointment - known as an initial assessment - within 1-2 weeks. Your therapist will then arrange ongoing sessions with you at a time that suits you both. How quickly these sessions can begin depends on the availability of the therapist.
Absolutely. Everything that happens in the room is private. Confidentiality is the basis for a successful therapeutic relationship. This is what makes it different from talking to a friend or relative.
Note that if your therapist becomes aware that you are putting yourself or others at risk, they are required to inform your GP, a healthcare professional or someone else. Wherever possible this would be discussed with you first.
Anxiety about entering into therapy is understandable. A key aspect of the work is that you are able to talk freely about any issues you feel are important to you. Having someone else with you who may be connected to those issues makes this opening-up more difficult. For this reason we do not generally see clients accompanied by friends or family.
Feel free to contact us if you have any questions. You can drop us an email with an outline of what issues are concerning you/ what you would like to talk about or work on. We will then aim to match you with the right therapist for you. They will often suggest a free 20 minute telephone for you to get a sense of each other. Finding the right fit is the first step in a strong and rewarding therapeutic relationship.
All enquires are usually answered within 24 hours, and all contact is strictly confidential and uses secure phone and email services.
